Run for Pasig 10.10.10

Nabalitaan nyo naman siguro ang event na itona ginanap kaning umaga? Ito ay isang fund raising activity upang makalikom ng sapat na salapi upang matulungang maisaayos ang ating makasaysayang Ilog Pasig. Bukod sa pagiging fund raising activity nito, nilalayon din nilang makamit ang pinaka maraming runners (tinatayang 120,000 runners) sa isang event sa "Guiness Book of Records".

Mayroong tatlong kategorya ng pagtakbo; 3Km - 5Km - 10Km run. Ang pagsali ay ginawa online o maaring pumunta sa mga bench stores at ROX. Maari kang sumali sa maliit na halagang PHP 250 sa kahit anu mang kategorya, mas mura kumpara sa ibang mga running events.

Marlboro Red Rush 2010

It all started with signing up online at http://malboro.ph and with that I have experienced one of the best things in life, driving a real race car.

I was surprised that someone called me on my mobile phone using a land line telling me that I was picked to be one of the finalists for the Marlboro Red Rush. They asked me to present documents that made me a little suspicious, but hey! I tried and lucky for me. We're scheduled for an exam, "Psych Exam" (damn do I look crazy?!?!). Oh well, the test was too damn long like being back to school; but the best part is the driving test. I never knew I could get so nervous driving a car, because someone was inside the car with me and checking how I drive. It was not a test of speed but more of safe and steady driving.
